M1 Adrian College beats M1 Oakland University 6-0 as Roudebush gains shutout

The M1 Adrian College Bulldogs used a sparkling performance by Austyn Roudebush to take down the M1 Oakland University Golden Grizzlies, as the netminder did not allow a goal in M1 Adrian College's 6-0 shutout victory.

Tyler Duarte was all over the ice for the Bulldogs, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Duarte scored 4:21 into the second period to make the score 1-0 M1 Adrian College. Justin Polischuk picked up the assist.

M1 Adrian College pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 37 penalty minutes.

The Bulldogs forced Golden Grizzlies' goaltenders to work in net, launching 44 shots and forcing 38 saves. Anthony Munoz made 20 stops and Creighton Furber made 18. M1 Adrian College put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M1 Oakland University to score on any of its six power plays.

M1 Adrian College also got a goal from Brad Kobryn as well. More assists for M1 Adrian College came via Justin Fisher, who had two and Josh Hosking, Archie McKinnon, and Erik Alden, who each chipped in one.

The Golden Grizzlies' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four M1 Adrian College power plays.

Austyn Roudebush made 28 saves for the Bulldogs on 28 shots. For M1 Adrian College, Robert Bodette was ejected from the game. M1 Oakland University ended with 23 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major. The Golden Grizzlies ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Tom Kilgore was ejected from the game.
