Pontasch's big game bests Cincinnati University of in 7-1 M2 Ohio State University win

Josef Pontasch had one goal and four assists to lead M2 Ohio State University to a 7-1 victory over Cincinnati University of.

Pontasch got on the board by slotting home a short handed goal 4:34 into the second period to make the score 1-0 M2 Ohio State University. Ryan lottes picked up the assist. Pontasch dished an assist on Blake Malecha's goal that made the score 2-0 M2 Ohio State University at 7:12 into the second period. He then added assists on Yevgeniy Gladkiy's goal at 10:21 into the second, on Malecha's goal at 7:41 into the third, and on Eric Sperli's goal at 10:56 into the third.

M2 Ohio State University was led by goalie Jake Thoubboron, who finished with 32 saves while allowing one goal. Thoubboron certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 1.5 entering the contest.

M2 Ohio State University forced Cincinnati University of goalie Colin Cormier to work between the pipes, taking 39 shots.
