The two teams needed one turns to complete the shootout.M3-Marquette University saw a two-goal lead disappear, but was able to secure the win in a shootout. M3-Marquette University made the score 5-3 on a goal by Johnny Stillman at 3:18 in the third period. M3-Missouri State University evened things up at 5-5 on a goal by Michael Humme at 17:22 in the third period. M3-Marquette University was paced by Christopher Dolan, who finished with one goal.
