M3-Marquette University survived a determined comeback attempt by M3-Northwestern University on the way to a 2-1 win.

M3-Marquette University made the score 2-0 on a goal by Christopher Dolan at 11:15 in the second period, and M3-Northwestern University got as close as 2-1 when Mike Fuentes scored 12:35 into the third period.
