M1 Davenport University blows out M1 Oakland University, 8-0

The M1 Davenport University Panthers had a five-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to an 8-0 win over the M1 Oakland University Golden Grizzlies.

Jordan Simmonds was all over the ice for M1 Davenport University, as he tallied two goals and two assists in the win. Simmonds scored the first of his two goals at 9:42 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M1 Davenport University. Everett Thompson picked up the assist. Simmonds' next tally made the score 8-0 M1 Davenport University with 13 seconds left in the third period. Thompson provided the assist.
