M1 John Carroll University falls to M1 Duquesne University in overtime, 5-4 (OT)

The M1 Duquesne University Dukes' Sean Martin scored 2:27 into overtime to beat the M1 John Carroll University Blue Streaks, 5-4 (OT).

M1 Duquesne University nearly gave up a two-score lead. The Dukes made it 3-1 on a goal by Arthur Birman at 4:26 in the third period. M1 John Carroll University got to within 3-2 on a power play goal by Brady Wells at 6:35 in the third period.

Birman had two goals to lead M1 Duquesne University to victory.

The Dukes' offense was clicking better than usual and put 36 shots on goal during the game, better than the 0.6 shots per game they average.

M1 Duquesne University also got points from Martin, who also finished with one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. M1 Duquesne University also got a goal from Thomas Diffendal as well. More assists for M1 Duquesne University came via Zak Kindya, who had two and Brett Reagan, Kyle Clar, and Jason Bruce, who contributed one each.
