Early goals doom M3-Washtenaw Comm College (NPS), falls to M3-Ball State University, 10-1

M3-Ball State University opened up a five-goal lead after the first period and did not look back en route to a 10-1 win over M3-Washtenaw Comm College (NPS).

M3-Ball State University got the win with help from a great game by Sean Winebrenner, who had two goals and two assists. Winebrenner scored the first of his two goals at 9:56 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M3-Ball State University. Daniel Aultman provided the assist. Winebrenner's next tally made the score 6-0 M3-Ball State University with 10:42 left in the second period. M3-Ball State University played down a man on Will Hadden's elbowing. Mark Grainda assisted on the tally.

M3-Ball State University outdid its season average for goals scored. M3-Ball State University has scored at the pace of 3.5 goals per game during the current campaign. M3-Ball State University got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed three goals during the game.
