M2 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institut falls to M2 Army after surprising comeback

Undaunted by a three-goal deficit, M2 Army battled back to claim a 6-5 victory over M2 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institut.

M2 Army never led in the game until netting the game winner. M2 Army was down 4-1 after a goal by M2 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institut's Luciano Olivieri at 5:51 in the second period. M2 Army knotted things up at 4-4 on a power play goal by James Morsch at 9:14 in the third period. M2 Army got the game winner on the power play at 12:48 in the third period on a goal by Morsch.

M2 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institut was doomed by its poor performance on special teams, as M2 Army was able to score four times while on the power play.
