M3-North Carolina - Wilmington wins tough contest against M2 Elon University, 6-4

The M3-North Carolina - Wilmington Seahawks and the M2 Elon University Phoenix were evenly matched throughout their contest, but M3-North Carolina - Wilmington made the most of its opportunities and won, 6-4.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Alexander Furtado at 5:29 of the third period.

John Cooperrider had a great game for the Seahawks, netting two goals. Cooperrider's tallies came at 16:43 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and 1:05 into the second to make the score 3-2 M3-North Carolina - Wilmington.
