M2 Southern Illinois-Edwardsville wins tough contest against M2 Grand Valley State University, 5-4

M2 Southern Illinois-Edwardsville gutted out a close 5-4 win against M2 Grand Valley State University.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Nick Edwards's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

Nicholas Sabol had a great game for M2 Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, netting two goals. Sabol scored on the power play at 6:49 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M2 Southern Illinois-Edwardsville and again while 13:10 into the second to make the score 3-3.
