Zuev's hat trick boosts M3-Tampa-University of over M3-Florida Atlantic University, 11-1

M3-Florida Atlantic University could not stop the M3-Tampa-University of Spartans' Konstantin Zuev, who tallied a hat trick in an 11-1 win.

Zuev notched his first tally 3:12 into the first period. He then added goals at 13:28 into the second and at 7:34 into the third.

M3-Tampa-University of led 5-0 after the opening frame the first period and maintained a healthy margin after.

The Spartans outdid their season average for goals scored. This season, M3-Tampa-University of averages 6.9 goals per contest. The Spartans took advantage of M3-Florida Atlantic University's penalties, tallying two goals off of three power play opportunities. M3-Tampa-University of put 59 shots on net during the contest, more than the 4.3 it averages per game.

M3-Tampa-University of additionally got points from Matt Fenby, who also tallied one goal and four assists to lead the team in points and Thomas Duddy, who also registered one goal and three assists. M3-Tampa-University of also had goals scored by Matt Antonacci, who had three and Kyler Wujciga, Logan Underwood, and Jared Eckert, who scored one goal each. More assists for M3-Tampa-University of came via Corey Tudor, who had two and Bryan Bellemore, Nicholas Martin, Carter Haines, and Joshua Santoro, who contributed one each.
