M2 San Diego State University uses fast start to beat M2 Loyola Marymount University, 8-0

M2 Loyola Marymount University fell behind early, and M2 San Diego State University kept piling on the points on the way to an 8-0 victory.

Aaron Mayer had a great game for M2 San Diego State University, netting two goals. Mayer found the back of the net 1:23 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M2 San Diego State University and again while 16:37 into the first to make the score 4-0 M2 San Diego State University.

M2 San Diego State University pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 28 penalty minutes.

M2 San Diego State University forced M2 Loyola Marymount University's netminders to work between the pipes, taking 46 shots and forcing 38 saves. Jake Blazier made 26 stops and William Sitzman made 12. M2 San Diego State University's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six M2 Loyola Marymount University power plays.
