M1 Binghamton University downs M1 Cortland State University of NY in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

The M1 Binghamton University Bearcats' Jonathan Lavis scored 2:41 into overtime to beat the M1 Cortland State University of NY Red Dragons, 3-2 (OT).

Although M1 Binghamton University was up by as many as two goals in the first period, M1 Cortland State University of NY kept the game interesting by staging a comeback that ultimately fell short. The Red Dragons pulled to within 2-1 on a goal by Thomas Tirelli at 1:42 in the third period.

The Bearcats pulled out the victory even though they were hit with 16 penalty minutes.

M1 Cortland State University of NY was unable to stop M1 Binghamton University from sending pucks towards the net, and the Bearcats eventually piled up 35 shots on goal.
