The Nepean Midget AAA Raiders beat the OHA U18 Midget AAA OHA U17, 2-0, in a contest where the winning goal was scored in the first period but the game remained close throughout.

The Raiders were led by Kuehni, who registered one goal.

Nepean Midget AAA's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three OHA U18 Midget AAA power plays. The Raiders featured an improved defense during the game. Nepean Midget AAA gives up 2.5 goals on average per game.

Nepean Midget AAA also got a goal from Paul Larabie as well. More assists for Nepean Midget AAA came via Nicholas Domitrovic, who had one and JJ Boucher, who had two.

OHA U18 Midget AAA was held below its usual level of production. The OHA U17 put an average of 2.5 pucks into the net per game. OHA U18 Midget AAA's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as the OHA U17 finished with 30 penalty minutes.

The Raiders' Marshall Frappier stopped 21 shots out of the 21 that he faced. Nepean Midget AAA incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Danick Francoeur made 18 saves for OHA U18 Midget AAA on 20 shots.
