Kemptville Midget AAA was often in penalty trouble, totaling seven minors and one major for 29 minutes in penalty time. The total exceeded the 10.0 minutes per game the 73s had been spending in the box. Kemptville Midget AAA put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Cornwall Midget AAA to score on any of its three power plays. The 73s was steadier on the defensive front than they have been for much of this season. Kemptville Midget AAA allows 3.0 goals per game.
