The OHA U17 Midget AAA OHA U16 tried their best to erase a three-goal deficit, but the Ottawa Midget AAA Senators would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 5-3. Ottawa Midget AAA made the score 5-2 on a goal by Adrien Bisson at 12:02 in the third period, and OHA U17 Midget AAA got as close as 5-3 when Matthew Briggs scored 14:12 into the third period. Bisson had a great game for the Senators, netting two goals. Ottawa Midget AAA forced its penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up seven minors and one major for 29 minutes in penalty time.
