The M1 Villanova University Wildcats gutted out a close 5-4 win against the M1 Pittsburgh University of Panthers.

M1 Villanova University gained the winning advantage on a goal by James Kirchgraber 18:56 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

Myles Mitchell was all over the ice for the Wildcats, as he registered two goals in the win. Mitchell's tallies came at 8:27 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Villanova University and on the power play 16:00 into the first to make the score 2-1 M1 Villanova University.
