M3-Northwood University survives M3-Central Michigan University comeback, wins 5-4

M3-Central Michigan University tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but M3-Northwood University held on for a 5-4 victory.

A goal by Sam Gannon put M3-Northwood University up 4-1 in the first period, but M3-Central Michigan University pulled to within one on Jason Pischke's tally 3:11 into the third period.

M3-Northwood University was led by Jakob Unis-thibault, who grabbed one goal. Unis-thibault scored 11:03 into the third period to make the score 5-4 M3-Northwood University.

M3-Northwood University could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 16 minutes in penalties during the game. M3-Northwood University got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

M3-Northwood University also got points from Ryan VanBommel, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points.
