M1 Minot State University survives penalties, beats M1 Non-ACHA Team, 7-2Barkman Arena Fri, Sep 11, 2015 M1 Non-ACHA Team failed to take advantage of its power play opportunities and the M1 Minot State University Beavers shook off a number of penalties to win, 7-2. M1 Minot State University was paced by Cote Dickerson, who registered one goal and one assist. Dickerson scored 2:50 into the third period to make the score 3-1 M1 Minot State University. Reece Forman provided the assist. In a losing effort, M1 Non-ACHA Team was led by Number Two, who finished with two goals. Two scored the first of his two goals at 5:08 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Non-ACHA Team. Two's next tally made the score 4-2 M1 Minot State University with 11:26 left in the third period. The Beavers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on 10 M1 Non-ACHA Team power plays. The Beavers could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 22 minutes in penalties during the game.
