M1 John Carroll University beats M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania 4-3 as Rossbach gets hat trick

The M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania Crimson Hawks could not stop the M1 John Carroll University Blue Streaks' Beau Rossbach, who tallied a hat trick in a 4-3 win.

Rossbach notched his first tally 4:23 into the first period. He then added goals at 11:37 into the first and at 4:59 into the second.

With 27 shots on target during the contest, M1 John Carroll University exceeded the 1.2 shot it averages per game this year.

M1 John Carroll University also got a goal from Tyler Gaglia as well. Other players who recorded assists for M1 John Carroll University were Kevin Vinyard, who had two and Joe Lane, Anthony Pontello, Cullen McMahon, and Greg Makozy, who contributed one each.

M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Blue Streaks to score on any of their four power plays. The Crimson Hawks put 42 shots on net during the contest, more than the 1.5 they average per game.
