The Crimson Hawks were paced by Tanner Gilliland, who finished with one goal. Gilliland scored on the power play 13:59 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania. M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania had taken the advantage when M1 Duquesne University's Michael Iannello got sent off for elbowing. Adam Kondraski picked up the assist.

The Crimson Hawks' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five M1 Duquesne University power plays. By firing 24 shots on goal, M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania exceeded the 0.1 shots it averages per game this year.
