M1 Towson University rides Stewardson to victory over M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania, 3-1

Tyler Stewardson had a standout game with 41 saves, and the M1 Towson University Tigers beat the M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania Crimson Hawks 3-1.

M1 Towson University was led by Tyler Darby, who had one goal. Darby scored 27 seconds into the third period to make the score 2-1 M1 Towson University. Nicholas Vonakis assisted on the tally.

The Tigers put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania to score on any of its four power plays.

M1 Towson University also got points from Matthew Mcguire, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. M1 Towson University also got a goal from Ryan Buccigrossi as well. In addition, M1 Towson University received assists from Matt Stella, who had two and Jeremy Snyder and Michael Darosa, who each chipped in one.

The Crimson Hawks forced M1 Towson University goalie Stewardson to work between the pipes, taking 42 shots.

M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania was led by Reid Duguid, who scored the team's only goal. Duguid scored 18:37 into the first period to make the score 1-1.

The Tigers incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Robert Stock recorded 27 saves for the Crimson Hawks. M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
