M1 Iowa State University survives M1 Central Oklahoma ^ University of comeback, wins 5-4

The M1 Central Oklahoma ^ University of Bronchos tried their best to erase a three-goal deficit, but the M1 Iowa State University Cyclones would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 5-4.

M1 Iowa State University made the score 4-1 on a goal by Zack Johnson at 18:06 in the second period, and M1 Central Oklahoma ^ University of got as close as 4-3 when Rylan Duley scored 14:17 into the third period.

Tony Uglem had two goals to lead the Cyclones to victory. Uglem found the back of the net 8:35 into the second period to make the score 2-0 M1 Iowa State University and again while 19:37 into the third to make the score 5-3 M1 Iowa State University.

M1 Iowa State University's normally stingy defense allowed more goals than usual. The Cyclones give up 1.6 goal per game. M1 Iowa State University could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 18 minutes in penalties during the game.

M1 Iowa State University also got points from Jake Bruhn, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. M1 Iowa State University also got a goal from Jake Uglem as well. More assists for M1 Iowa State University came via Eero Helanto and Aaron Azevedo, who each chipped in one.
