M1 Colorado ^ University of beats M1 Colorado State University 6-0 as Jarman gets hat trick

Thomas Jarman netted a hat trick to lead the M1 Colorado ^ University of Golden Buffaloes over the M1 Colorado State University Rams, 6-0.

Jarman notched his first tally 2:32 into the second period. He then added goals at 15:18 into the second and at 13:17 into the third.

Colin Champine frustrated M1 Colorado State University's offense all game, and stopped 25 shots en route to a shutout. Champine certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 1.96 entering the contest.

M1 Colorado ^ University of pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 23 penalty minutes.

The Golden Buffaloes put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Rams to score on any of their six power plays.
