Matthew Bidin racked up one point to lead the Smiths Falls Midget AAA Bears to a 2-1 victory over the Cumberland Midget AAA Grads.

Brock Boisclair also scored for Smiths Falls Midget AAA. In addition, Smiths Falls Midget AAA received assists from Nathaniel Watson, Mackenzie Mercier, Spencer Shahen, and Josh Bifolchi, who contributed one each.

Cumberland Midget AAA's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Smiths Falls Midget AAA power plays. The Grads were held below their usual level of production. Cumberland Midget AAA averages 3.9 goals per game.

The Grads were led by Alex Robert, who scored the team's only goal. Robert scored 12:00 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Noah Johnston assisted on the tally.

Alex Zoutis recorded 24 saves for Smiths Falls Midget AAA. The Bears incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Cumberland Midget AAA's Kai Edmonds stopped 19 shots out of the 21 that he faced. The Grads incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
