Adam Levesque gave the Hawkesbury Midget AAA Hawks a 2-1 (OT) victory over the Kemptville Midget AAA 73s when he scored 2:36 into the extra period.

Kemptville Midget AAA was stymied by Hawkesbury Midget AAA's netminder Connor Morris, who stopped 25 shots during the victory. Morris certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 4.11 entering the contest.

The Hawks were led by Levesque, who racked up one goal.

Hawkesbury Midget AAA also got a goal from Brandon Legare as well. In addition, Hawkesbury Midget AAA received assists from Tyler Boivin, Luke Paquette, Cedric Roth, and Ryan Wells, who each chipped in one.

The 73s could not produce up to their normal offensive output. Kemptville Midget AAA averages 3.2 goals per game.

The 73s were led by Mike Armstrong, who scored the team's only goal. Armstrong scored on the power play 5:14 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Kemptville Midget AAA had gotten the advantage when Hawkesbury Midget AAA's Brett Romain was sent off for interference. Zach Cohen picked up the assist.

The Hawks incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Luke Cavallin rejected 18 shots on goal for the 73s. Kemptville Midget AAA incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
