The game between the Kemptville Midget AAA 73s and the Kanata Midget AAA Lasers was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Kemptville Midget AAA emerged with a 5-3 win. The 73s gained the winning advantage on a goal by John Beaton 6:25 into the second period and hung on until final buzzer. Kemptville Midget AAA was led by Joel Holtrop, who racked up one goal.
