The game between the Cumberland Midget AAA Grads and the Gloucester Midget AAA Rangers was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Cumberland Midget AAA emerged with a 4-2 win.

The Grads gained the winning advantage on a goal by Zakary Rodrigue 8:41 into the second period and hung on until final buzzer.

Rodrigue was all over the ice for Cumberland Midget AAA, as he finished with two goals in the win.

The Grads forced Gloucester Midget AAA goalie Jean-Sebastien Gratton to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots.

Others who scored for Cumberland Midget AAA included Mathieu Plante and Alex Wall, who each put in one. More assists for Cumberland Midget AAA came via Tommy Stevenson, Liam Peyton, Alex Robert, and Wil Murray, who contributed one each and Tristan Francis and Roman Cannell, who each chipped in two.

The Rangers were helped by Adam Johnston, who grabbed one goal. Johnston scored 11:04 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Cumberland Midget AAA. Greg Love provided the assist. Connor Noonan also scored for Gloucester Midget AAA. In addition, Gloucester Midget AAA received assists from Marc Brosseau, who had one.

Seth Carter made 26 saves for Cumberland Midget AAA on 28 shots. The Grads ended with no penalties and went 0-for-2 on the power play. Gratton recorded 27 saves for Gloucester Midget AAA. The Rangers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors and had no power play opportunities.
