Chris Bernard tallied one point to lead the Smiths Falls Midget AAA Bears to a 2-1 victory over the OHA U18 Midget AAA OHA U17.

Smiths Falls Midget AAA did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 13 shots on net to force 11 saves. The Bears got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. Smiths Falls Midget AAA was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 18 penalty minutes.

Smiths Falls Midget AAA also got points from Ethan Coltart, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. More assists for Smiths Falls Midget AAA came via Brock Boisclair, Michael Hogan, and Mackenzie Mercier, who each chipped in one.

OHA U18 Midget AAA could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 20 minutes in penalties during the game.

The OHA U17 were led by Josh Kim, who scored the team's only goal. Kim scored on the power play 6:27 into the second period to make the score 1-1. An interference penalty on Willem Larsen had put OHA U18 Midget AAA on the power play. Justin Cheng provided the assist.

Kyle Renaud made 23 saves for the Bears on 24 shots. Smiths Falls Midget AAA registered two goals on four power play opportunities. Danick Francoeur rejected 11 shots on goal for the OHA U17. OHA U18 Midget AAA registered one goal on three power play opportunities.
