M2 New York University outlasts M2 Rider University, 5-4

M2 New York University and M2 Rider University were evenly matched throughout their contest, but M2 New York University made the most of its opportunities and won, 5-4.

Neither team gained more than a one-goal lead, and Steven Esposito's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

M2 New York University was sparked by Esposito, who finished with one goal and one assist. Esposito scored 18:39 into the third period to make the score 5-4 M2 New York University. Gabriel Gollette assisted on the tally.

M2 New York University struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 16 penalty minutes for four opposing power plays.
