Polinski leads M1 West Virginia University over M1 Lehigh University, 6-1

David Polinski was all over the ice for the M1 West Virginia University Mountaineers, as he tallied two goals and one assist in M1 West Virginia University's 6-1 win over the M1 Lehigh University Mountain Hawks.

Polinski's tallies came on the power play at 13:19 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 West Virginia University and 8:02 into the third to make the score 6-1 M1 West Virginia University.

The Mountaineers' penalty kill excelled, as M1 West Virginia University gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.

The Mountaineers stifled M1 Lehigh University's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. M1 West Virginia University's offense rang up 53 shots on the Mountain Hawks' net.

M1 West Virginia University also got points from Jp Sawyer, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Gustav Paerson, who also finished with one goal and one assist. M1 West Virginia University also had goals scored by Spencer Schutte and Frankie Gerbasi, who each put in one. More assists for M1 West Virginia University came via Nicholas Burt, who had two, Tyler Conaway, who had three, and Alec Hnat and Vincent Fornes, who contributed one each.

M1 Lehigh University's offense was handcuffed by the Mountaineers' defensive play, and the Mountain Hawks managed only 14 shots on goal during the game.

M1 Lehigh University was led by Andres Binotto, who scored the team's only goal. Binotto scored 51 seconds into the third period to make the score 3-1 M1 West Virginia University. Christopher Ramondelli provided the assist.
