Brayden Campeau finished with one point to lead the Carleton Place Midget AAA Canadians to a 2-1 victory over the Nepean Midget AAA Raiders.

Carleton Place Midget AAA's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Nepean Midget AAA power plays.

Carleton Place Midget AAA also got a goal from Ryan Shaw as well. More assists for Carleton Place Midget AAA came via Skylar Quartermain and Scott Gervais, who contributed one each.

Nepean Midget AAA racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with six minors and one major for 27 minutes in penalty time. The Raiders surpassed its season average of 10.0 penalty minutes per game.

Nepean Midget AAA was led by Matt Arial, who scored the team's only goal. Arial scored 35 seconds into the third period to make the score 1-1. Paul Larabie assisted on the tally.

The Canadians' Michael Leach stopped 18 shots out of the 19 that he faced. Carleton Place Midget AAA incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Anand Oberoi rejected 22 shots on goal for the Raiders. Nepean Midget AAA ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and JJ Boucher was ejected from the game.
