In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the Carleton Place Midget AAA Canadians escaped with a 4-2 victory over the Pembroke Midget AAA Lumber Kings.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Liam Markhauser secured the win for Carleton Place Midget AAA with a goal in the third period.

Markhauser had two goals to lead the Canadians to victory.

Carleton Place Midget AAA got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Carleton Place Midget AAA additionally got points from Brayden Campeau, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Reece Bolton also scored for Carleton Place Midget AAA. Pembroke Midget AAA ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Reid Barber was ejected from the game.
