A goal by Tom Neher put M3-Widener University up 6-3 in the third period, but M3-Catholic University of America pulled to within one on Nick Hostovsky's tally 17:40 into the third period. Matthew Reed was all over the ice for M3-Widener University, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Reed scored the first of his two goals at 6:43 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M3-Widener University. Drew Phillipes picked up the assist.
