The Gloucester Midget AAA Rangers pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over the Kanata Midget AAA Lasers on a clutch goal by Zachary Towns.

Gloucester Midget AAA came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Rangers was down 2-0 after a power play goal by Kanata Midget AAA's Cade Townend at 12:07 in the first period. Gloucester Midget AAA knotted things up at 2-2 on a goal by Erik Ross at 16:44 in the third period.

The Rangers were led by Towns, who racked up one goal. Towns scored 4:57 into overtime to make the score 3-2 Gloucester Midget AAA. Ty Morelli provided the assist.

Gloucester Midget AAA could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 24 minutes in penalties during the game.

Gloucester Midget AAA also got a goal from Nicolas Seguin as well. In addition, Gloucester Midget AAA received assists from Connor Noonan, Neil Gummeson, and Sam Paquette, who each chipped in one.

The Lasers kept the Rangers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Jean-Sebastien Gratton made 36 saves on 38 shots.

Bennett Stockdale also scored for Kanata Midget AAA. More assists for Kanata Midget AAA came via David Silye, Luca Nocita, Daniel McIntyre, and Mack Miller, who contributed one each.

Gloucester Midget AAA registered zero goals on two power play opportunities. Cameron Scott rejected 24 shots on goal for Kanata Midget AAA. The Lasers incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
