Jake Smith recorded a shutout against the Nepean Midget AAA Raiders as the Pembroke Midget AAA Lumber Kings picked up a 1-0 win.

Payton Jardine's game-winning tally was the game's only goal. It came at 16:42 in the third period. Jared Campitelli assisted on the tally.

Pembroke Midget AAA was paced by Jardine, who had one goal.

The Lumber Kings put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Nepean Midget AAA to score on any of its four power plays. Pembroke Midget AAA featured an improved defense during the game. The Lumber Kings allow 2.9 goals per game. Pembroke Midget AAA could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

In addition, Pembroke Midget AAA received assists from Bailey McIntyre, who had one.

The Raiders' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Pembroke Midget AAA power plays. Nepean Midget AAA was held below its usual level of production. The Raiders put an average of 3.1 pucks into the net per game. Nepean Midget AAA's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as the Raiders finished with 14 penalty minutes.

Jake Smith made 28 saves for the Lumber Kings on 28 shots. Marshall Frappier rejected 18 shots on goal for Nepean Midget AAA.
