The Kemptville Midget AAA 73s pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over the Brockville Midget AAA Braves on a clutch goal by Ryan Pawlikowski.

Kemptville Midget AAA came back from a three-goal deficit to capture the victory. The 73s was down 3-0 after a goal by Brockville Midget AAA's Jacob Shankar at 13:25 in the first period. Kemptville Midget AAA knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Joel Holtrop at 9:34 in the third period.

The 73s were sparked by Pawlikowski, who racked up one goal. Pawlikowski scored on the power play 55 seconds into overtime to make the score 4-3 Kemptville Midget AAA. Kemptville Midget AAA had gotten the advantage when the Braves' Jared Patterson was sent off for boarding. Jack York assisted on the tally.

The 73s kept Brockville Midget AAA's goalie busy throughout the game, and Kyle Herbison made 43 saves on 47 shots.

Kemptville Midget AAA additionally got points from Jordan Currie, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Dean Bucciarelli also scored for Kemptville Midget AAA. Other players who recorded assists for Kemptville Midget AAA were Troy Quinn and Mike Armstrong, who each chipped in one.

Kemptville Midget AAA was unable to stop the Braves from sending pucks towards the net, and Brockville Midget AAA eventually piled up 41 shots on goal.
