In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the CIHA White Midget AAA White escaped with a 4-3 victory over the Nepean Midget AAA Raiders.

Neither team gained more than a one-goal lead, and Pavel Gogolev's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

CIHA White Midget AAA got the win with help from a great game by Gogolev, who had two goals and one assist. Gogolev scored the first of his two goals at 15:04 into the third period to make the score 3-3. Kyle Preston picked up the assist. Gogolev's next tally made the score 4-3 CIHA White Midget AAA with 1:07 left in the third period. Semen Der-Arguchintsev assisted on the tally.

The White managed to stay out of the box better than usual, tallying one minor for two minutes in penalty time. CIHA White Midget AAA wound up below its season average of 7.0 penalty minutes per game. Nepean Midget AAA was unable to stop the White from sending pucks towards the net, and CIHA White Midget AAA eventually piled up 33 shots on goal.

CIHA White Midget AAA also got points from Der-Arguchintsev, who also racked up one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. Kenshin Hayashi also scored for CIHA White Midget AAA. More assists for CIHA White Midget AAA came via Etienne Agius-Pease, who had one.

The Raiders managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Nepean Midget AAA ended up below its season average of 10.0 penalty minutes per game. The Raiders kept the White's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jacob Lavergne made 35 saves on 38 shots.

Nepean Midget AAA was led by Geoff Dempster, who registered one goal and one assist. Dempster scored 10:33 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Nepean Midget AAA. Paul Larabie picked up the assist. Others who scored for Nepean Midget AAA included Nicholas Domitrovic and Kyle Kuehni, who each put in one. In addition, Nepean Midget AAA received assists from Aidan Harris and Ryan Kaufman, who contributed one each.

CIHA White Midget AAA registered zero goals on one power play opportunities. The Raiders' Anand Oberoi stopped 29 shots out of the 33 that he faced. Nepean Midget AAA registered zero goals on one power play opportunities.
