The Ottawa Midget AAA Senators' Jean-Sylvain Boyer had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 4-1 win over the OHA U18 Midget AAA OHA U17.

Boyer scored 6:35 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Ottawa Midget AAA. Cameron Scrivens picked up the assist. Boyer dished an assist on Scrivens' goal that made the score 1-0 Ottawa Midget AAA at 12:42 into the first period. He added another helper on Noah Haymes's goal that made the score 3-1 Ottawa Midget AAA at 9:33 into the third period.

Ottawa Midget AAA's offense rang up 38 shots on OHA U18 Midget AAA's net.

Ottawa Midget AAA additionally got points from Scrivens, who also registered one goal and one assist and Haymes, who also had one goal and one assist. Marcus Stepto also scored for Ottawa Midget AAA. More assists for Ottawa Midget AAA came via Sam Wilson, Daniel Lambert, Merrick Rippon, and Tyler Villeneuve, who each chipped in one.

The OHA U17 were led by Jon Vandermolen, who scored the team's only goal. Vandermolen scored on the power play 10:12 into the second period to make the score 1-1. OHA U18 Midget AAA had gained a power play chance when Wilson was whistled for cross checking. Craig Garrigan assisted on the tally.

The Senators' Nicolas Rousseau stopped 14 shots out of the 15 that he faced. Ottawa Midget AAA incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Danick Francoeur made 34 saves for the OHA U17 on 38 shots. OHA U18 Midget AAA incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
