The Cumberland Midget AAA Grads had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-1 win over the Cornwall Midget AAA Colts.

Cumberland Midget AAA was led by goalie Kai Edmonds, who finished with 26 saves while allowing one goal. The solid play of Edmonds will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 2.07.

Zakary Rodrigue had two goals to lead the Grads to victory. Rodrigue scored at 14:51 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Cumberland Midget AAA and again while 7:33 into the third to make the score 3-0 Cumberland Midget AAA.

Cumberland Midget AAA stifled Cornwall Midget AAA's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Grads kept the Colts' goalie busy throughout the game, and Grant Craig made 30 saves on 35 shots.

Cumberland Midget AAA also got a goal from Liam Peyton as well. More assists for Cumberland Midget AAA came via Mathieu Plante, Anthony Reyes, Alex Robert, and Wil Murray, who contributed one each and Alex Wall and Ethan Cahill, who each chipped in two.

Cumberland Midget AAA incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Cornwall Midget AAA incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
