The M1 Rutgers University Scarlet Knights tried to dig themselves out of a three-goal hole, but the M1 Lebanon Valley College Flying Dutchmen held on for a 4-3 victory.

M1 Lebanon Valley College took a 4-1 lead during the second period, only to have M1 Rutgers University storm back on a CJ Maksut goal 10:13 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

Joey LaBonte had a great game for the Flying Dutchmen, netting two goals.

M1 Lebanon Valley College also got points from Zack McKown, who also registered one goal and one assist. Bryan Hovanec also scored for M1 Lebanon Valley College. In addition, M1 Lebanon Valley College received assists from Bradley Nolan, Matthew Reno, Paul Hefferin, Jacob Thomas, Michael Straub, Jacob Horst, and Russell Armbruster, who each chipped in one.

The Scarlet Knights' penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as M1 Rutgers University finished with 28 penalty minutes.

M1 Rutgers University also got a goal from Griffin Privitera as well. More assists for M1 Rutgers University came via Kevin Fitch, who had two and Andrew Yasenchock and Wesley Austin, who contributed one each.

M1 Lebanon Valley College incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Scarlet Knights registered two goals on five power play opportunities.
