M1 Stony Brook University took a 3-1 lead during the third period, only to have M1 Lebanon Valley College storm back on a Andy Thurby goal 17:50 into the third period to pull to one goal down. The Seawolves got the win behind a great game by Tyler Underhill, who had one goal and two assists. Underhill scored 8:06 into the third period to make the score 3-1 M1 Stony Brook University. JT Hall picked up the assist. M1 Stony Brook University excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. The Seawolves could not produce up to their normal offensive output.
