The M1 Lebanon Valley College Flying Dutchmen tried to dig themselves out of a two-goal hole, but the M1 Stony Brook University Seawolves held on for a 3-2 victory.

M1 Stony Brook University took a 3-1 lead during the third period, only to have M1 Lebanon Valley College storm back on a Andy Thurby goal 17:50 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

The Seawolves got the win behind a great game by Tyler Underhill, who had one goal and two assists. Underhill scored 8:06 into the third period to make the score 3-1 M1 Stony Brook University. JT Hall picked up the assist.

M1 Stony Brook University excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. The Seawolves could not produce up to their normal offensive output. M1 Stony Brook University puts an average of 5.8 pucks into the net per game. The Seawolves put 28 shots on net during the contest, more than the 6.6 they average per game.

Others who scored for M1 Stony Brook University included Justin Lazalde and Andrew Cetola, who scored one goal each.
