RMC uses early goal to top The Eh Team, 4-3

Frank Pang scored the go-ahead goal in the first period, and RMC held off the challenges of The Eh Team in a tough 4-3 win.

RMC took over the lead for good with a goal by Pang at 16:15 in the first period. RMC had taken the advantage when The Eh Team's Colin Lau got sent off for holding. Jesse Rankin provided the assist.

Rankin was all over the ice for RMC, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Rankin scored the first of his two goals short handed at 13:09 into the first period to make the score 1-0 RMC. RMC played down a man on Amritpal Gill's tripping. Rankin's next tally short handed made the score 4-2 RMC with 4:35 left in the second period. Ivan Tsang assisted on the tally.

RMC pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 12 penalty minutes.

RMC's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in three goals.

RMC also got a goal from Gurbir Gary Gill as well. Other players who recorded assists for RMC were Eric Luk, who had one.

Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

The Eh Team was helped by Parker Lane, who racked up one goal. Lane scored 10:44 into the second period to make the score 3-2 RMC. Matej Holan provided the assist. The Eh Team also got points from Lau, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Jimmy Wiles also scored for The Eh Team. More assists for The Eh Team came via Naythan Rasquinha, Neil Sutherland, and Ryan Murray, who each chipped in one.

RMC's Gill stopped 27 shots out of the 30 that he faced. RMC registered one goal on three power play opportunities. Gage Brunet rejected 17 shots on goal for The Eh Team. The Eh Team incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
