M1 Slippery Rock University let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. The Pride took a 3-2 advantage on a goal by Sage Strezeski at 7:42 in the second period. M1 Slippery Rock University went down 2-0 after M1 Saint Bonaventure University's Derrick Jester put the puck home on the power play at 9:43 in the first period. After knotting things up at 3-3 on a power play goal by John Rogers at 8:44 in the third, the Pride got the game-winner from Karson Frisk at 17:28 in the third period. M1 Slippery Rock University's penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled eight minors and two majors for 26 minutes in penalty time. The Pride had been averaging 14.0 minutes in penalties per game. M1 Slippery Rock University was held back by its power play unit, which tallied two goals on nine chances.
