M1 Adrian College falls to M1 Stony Brook University in overtime, 3-2 (OT)The Rinx Sun, Nov 15, 2015 The M1 Stony Brook University Seawolves pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over the M1 Adrian College Bulldogs on a clutch goal by JT Hall. Hall had a great game for M1 Stony Brook University, netting two goals. Hall found the back of the net 12:25 into the third period to make the score 2-2 and again while 23 seconds into the fourth to make the score 3-2 M1 Stony Brook University. The Seawolves put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M1 Adrian College to score on any of its three power plays. M1 Stony Brook University was held below its usual level of production. The Seawolves put an average of 5.5 pucks into the net per game. By firing 35 shots on goal, M1 Stony Brook University exceeded the 6.0 shots it averages per game this year. M1 Stony Brook University also got a goal from Frank Sherding as well. In addition, M1 Stony Brook University received assists from Justin Lazalde, Michael Cartwright, Tyler Underhill, Frank Coscia, and Andrew Cetola, who each chipped in one. The Bulldogs did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. M1 Adrian College averages 5.2 goals per game. The Bulldogs' offense was clicking better than usual and put 29 shots on goal during the game, better than the 2.1 shots per game they average. M1 Adrian College could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game. The Bulldogs were helped by Brad Kobryn, who tallied one goal. Kobryn scored 14:59 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Ted Anstett also scored for M1 Adrian College. Other players who recorded assists for M1 Adrian College were Tyler Duarte, who had one. The Seawolves' Todd Scarola stopped 27 shots out of the 29 that he faced. M1 Stony Brook University incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Austyn Roudebush made 32 saves for M1 Adrian College on 35 shots.
