Brian Boser scored the go-ahead goal in the first period, and the M1 Stony Brook University Seawolves held off the challenges of the M1 West Chester University Golden Rams in a tough 2-0 win.

Boser provided M1 Stony Brook University with the game-winning tally when he scored 9:01 into the first period. Matthew Crockett provided the assist.

The Seawolves were paced by Boser, who racked up one goal.

M1 Stony Brook University stifled M1 West Chester University's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Seawolves were held below their usual level of production.
