M1 Davenport University survives M1 Western Michigan University comeback, wins 4-3

The M1 Davenport University Panthers survived a determined comeback attempt by the M1 Western Michigan University Stallions on the way to a 4-3 win.

M1 Davenport University made the score 4-2 on a goal by Travis White at 18:48 in the second period, and M1 Western Michigan University got as close as 4-3 when Jacob Taiariol scored 12:09 into the third period.

The Panthers were led by White, who finished with one goal.

M1 Davenport University's offense was clicking better than usual and put 42 shots on goal during the game, better than the 3.9 shots per game it averages.

M1 Davenport University also got points from Winston Hofer, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. M1 Davenport University also had goals scored by Chris Eckler and Alyx Fonseca, who scored one goal each. More assists for M1 Davenport University came via Cameron Dimmitt, Everett Thompson, and Alex Hulford, who contributed one each.
