M1 Kent State University vanquishes M1 Mercyhurst University in shootout, 6-5 (2-1 SO)

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as the M1 Kent State University Golden Flashes defeated the M1 Mercyhurst University Lakers in a shootout 6-5 (2-1 SO).

The two teams needed six turns to complete the shootout. M1 Mercyhurst University's shootout goal was scored by Joseph Zinner. M1 Kent State University also got a shootout goal from Miles Radosevic.
