M3-Penn State-Altoona wins tough contest against M3-George Mason University, 5-3

In a game where neither team could get a cushion, M3-Penn State-Altoona escaped with a 5-3 victory over M3-George Mason University.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Sean Dolan's goal in the second period proved to be the difference maker.

Nico Gricco was all over the ice for M3-Penn State-Altoona, as he registered two goals in the win. Gricco found the back of the net 7:30 into the first period to make the score 2-1 M3-Penn State-Altoona and again while 13:23 into the first to make the score 3-1 M3-Penn State-Altoona.

M3-Penn State-Altoona's offense was clicking better than usual and put 34 shots on goal during the game, better than the 1.8 shot per game it averages.

M3-Penn State-Altoona also got points from Nicholas Tamburi, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. M3-Penn State-Altoona also got a goal from Mitchell Rupprecht as well.
