Huge game by Bell boosts M3-Rowan University over M3-George Mason University, 5-0

Behind a great game by Marty Bell, who had one goal and three assists, M3-Rowan University defeated M3-George Mason University, 5-0.

Bell beat Nick Wayland with a shot 6:03 into the third period to make the score 4-0 M3-Rowan University. Bell dished an assist on Brandon Mead's goal that made the score 2-0 M3-Rowan University at 16 seconds into the third period. He then added assists on John Cascio's goal at 3:57 into the third and on Eric Bell's goal at 14:28 into the third.

M3-Rowan University excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. M3-Rowan University kept M3-George Mason University's goalie busy throughout the game, and Wayland made 36 saves on 41 shots. M3-Rowan University got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed three goals during the game.

M3-Rowan University also got points from Mead, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Cameron St. John also scored for M3-Rowan University. Other players who recorded assists for M3-Rowan University were Nicholas Scarangella and Kyle Welsh, who contributed one each.
